Malta, Valletta: The Phoenicia
Our first recommendation is Malta, and for good reason.
Thanks to our very own Greta, who grew up on the island, we know Malta exceptionally well and can offer first-hand recommendations on where to stay, eat, and explore. With direct flights from Oslo on Wednesdays and Saturdays, getting there couldn't be easier.
The Phoenicia Malta is one of the island's most iconic luxury hotels. Located just outside Valletta's historic city walls, the property combines timeless elegance with stunning views across the harbour and surrounding gardens. The hotel has been awarded a Michelin Key, recognising its exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experience.
Superior Rooms from NOK 7,000 per night (mid-August), excluding flights.*
And again: if you're considering Malta, don't hesitate to ask us for recommendations.
Sicily: Mangia's Brucoli
Italy and Sicily will always deliver. The food alone is worth the trip, but the island is also home to some wonderful resorts away from the crowds. Mangia's Brucoli, part of Marriott's Autograph Collection, sits on Sicily's east coast south of Catania, overlooking the Mediterranean with views towards Mount Etna.
Located close to a traditional fishing village, it's the kind of place where days are spent moving between the pool, the sea, long lunches, and evening aperitivos.
Junior Suites from NOK 4,500 per night (mid-August), excluding flights.*
Croatia, Šibenik: D-Resort
Featured in the Michelin Guide's hotel selection, D-Resort Šibenik has yet to receive a Michelin Key. However, it has earned recognition for its striking architecture, great service and spectacular Adriatic setting.
Located just under an hour from Split Airport, in the middle of the Dalmatian Coast, the resort is surrounded by the landscapes Croatia is known for: crystal-clear waters and charming seaside villages.
Set on the tip of the Mandalina Peninsula overlooking the marina and the old town of Šibenik, D-Resort offers an intimate atmosphere with only 63 rooms and suites. Guests can enjoy two restaurants, four bars, a sophisticated spa, and a relaxed waterfront setting.
Prices for Superior Double Rooms with sea and city view start from NOK 3700 per night, excluding flights (mid-August).*
